WELCOME TO THE 2007-2008 CONCERT SEASON!

ONCE AGAIN WE’RE PROUD to present an outstanding group of concerts featuring a truly outstanding group of guest artists.

ILYA ITIN will be our first guest artist on October 13th. He is returning to popular acclaim after missing several seasons.

Our second concert, on November 10th, features KEMAL GEKIC. He is yet another returning audience pleaser, growing more appreciated here each season. He’s a great performer!

JON NAKAMATSU, the Cliburn gold medalist in 1997, returns once again, on December 1st. He has developed a widespread international group of audiences, giving solo concerts and playing with symphonies all over the world. But he likes our friendliness, and especially our high quality of music performance, and comes back every year — to our great pride and joy.

NAIDA COLE will be our featured artist for our New Years' all Mozart concert on December 29th. She is returning to great popular acclaim and has graciously agreed to break her schedule of classes to come back to her “favorite concert venue”. She is a wonderful flautist as well as phenomenal pianist, and we’re overjoyed to have her play with us again. Both the Mozart music and Naida are perennial favorites. This concert sells out in advance, very quickly. Don't miss it.

ANTONIO POMPA-BALDI returns on January 26th for his fourth season with us. A top winner of the 2001 Cliburn, he’s another show stopper — and a genuinely nice guy. Another performance you can’t miss!

STEPHEN BEUS is a new featured artist for the Chamber Music Society and will be appearing on March 8th. This winner of the Gina Bachaur International Competition and Vendome International Competition winner in Lisbon Portugal is certain to be an audience pleaser for years to come.

ALESSIO BAX is featured at our final concert, on March 29th. He’s the Gold Medalist at the Leeds International Piano Competition and also the Gold Medalist at the Hamamatsu International Competition. He is a great pianist and we are very excited about having him. Another performance to be savored.

All in all — a great season with great artists and greatest music.
