WELCOME TO THE 2006-2007 CONCERT SEASON!

ONCE AGAIN WE’RE PROUD to present an outstanding group of concerts featuring a truly outstanding group of guest artists.

NAIDA COLE will be our first guest artist, on September 30, returning to great popular acclaim after missing several seasons because she has been going full time to pre-med school, and fully intends to become a great doctor. She has graciously agreed to break her schedule of classes to come back to her “favorite concert venue”. She is a wonderful flautist as well as phenomenal pianist, and we’re overjoyed to have her play with us again.

Our second concert, on October 21, features ALICIA “GABY” MARTINEZ. She was one of our most popular guests last season, and we’re lucky to have her again.

JON NAKAMATSU, the Cliburn gold medalist in 1997, returns once again, on December 2. He has developed a widespread international group of audiences, giving solo concerts and playing with symphonies all over the world. But he likes our friendliness, and especially our high quality of music performance, and comes back every year — to our great pride and joy.

TAMAS UNGAR is our featured artist for the New Year’s all-Mozart concert. Both the Mozart music and the artist are perennial favorites. This concert usually sells out in advance, very quickly. Don’t miss it!

ANTONIO POMPA-BALDI returns on February 17 for his third season with us. A top winner of the 2001 Cliburn, he’s another show stopper — and a genuinely nice guy. Another performance you can’t miss!

And KEMAL GEKIC on March 31 is yet another returning audience pleaser, growing more appreciated here each season. He’s a great performer!

ADAM GOLKA is featured at our final concert, on April 28. He’s also played with us several times, starting when he was only 17 years old — he was our “discovery”. He was also our star at our last Gala. Another performance to be savored.

All in all — a great season with great artists and greatest music.
